It was fine weather for the recent Nidd Valley Evening League event, but all the recent rain meant that the off-road course was very slippy and trail shoes were the order of the day! Some good performances from the club, Chris Miller was 3rd overall in 29:36 behind Ian Fisher and Matt John, both of Otley A.C. Andrew Dobby finished 8th in 31:39 (2nd MV40) and Jon Johnson did really well to finish 11th in 31:49. Jenny Hutcheson (pictured above) was our first lady and 6th overall in 36:01, I have a feeling that the slippy conditions didn’t allow her to maximise her ever-improving performance.
