2015 Results

Here is a link to the results. A great turnout and too many names to mention everyone but congratulation to Tom Midwood for winning the Year 4-6 Boys race, Jessica Jones for 2nd place in the Year 7-9 Girls race, Freya Kesteven placed 4th in the Year 4-6 Girls race and Mark Wood with a great spring finish for 5th place in the Year 4-6 Boys race. Well done to everyone else who took part and enjoyed the race despite the hills. After-race treats in the stableyard cafe restored a few smiles!

English Schools Champion

August 18, 2015

On June 17th Harrogate Harrier George Mills ran 1.50.55 at the BMC Golden meeting in Watford. This places him number 1 in England and equal 6th in the all time U17 mens rankings with Michael Rimmer, ahead of both Sebastian Coe and Peter Elliot. His time has qualified him for both the world youth games in Columbia and the Commonwealth youth games in Samoa this year. Following on the heals of his success in Watford, George competed in the English Schools Athletics Association Track and Field Championships in Gateshead on 10/11 July and has become the English schools champion at 800m. Many congratulations to George !
