Juniors Notices

Seren and Archie were the first fell runners to come to a Martyn Price led session on the hills. Frolics on the fells, fleeing bullocks and feeding faces with chocolate muffins formed part of the session. If that sounds like something you fancy taking part in, the next training sessions are on:

Thursday 5th July – meet ready to run 6.30pm at Squinting Cat pub car park, Lund House Green, Harrogate HG3 1QE.

Thursday 13th September – meet ready to run 6.30pm at venue TBC.

Message from Simon.Wheelchair Basketball evening at Harrogate High School sports hall. We will be joined by two qualified coaches from the York wheelchair basketball club who will organise a tournament for the children and give some coaching support where required. They are setting up a new Harrogate club so we will be helping them to fundraise by charging an entry fee of £5 to take part with all proceeds to go to the new club. The evening will run from 5:30 – 8:00 and you can come for your normal session, or switch times if helpful to do so. There will be 20 chairs and two games going on simultaneously but there will obviously be times when the children need to sit out and watch the games. A few parents or siblings are welcome to take part also. If there are any volunteers to help run a bake sale that would be great also? I will send an event invitation on Sportlyzer so please check your calendar and RSVP to let us gauge numbers.
