January 27, 2007 - NoEAA Championships - Heaton Park, Manchester (added Jan. 28) - Four Harriers competed in the senior mens race at the NoEAA Championships. Finishing first for the club in the 12K race was Chris Miller (86th, 38:21) followed by Brian Miller (358th, 45:20), Mark Seymour (532nd, 50:55), and Alan Couldwell (579th, 53:05).
January 14, 2007 - Yorkshire Vets AA Cross Country Championships - Winterhill, Rotherham (added Jan. 15)
Report from Ian Rowbotham - "Ben Grant did well. I thought it was an interesting race with the three medal winners in the M55 to 60 category running the first lap looking over one another shoulders in a cluster just behind the cluster of medal winners fighting it out for the M50 title. Ben went on to tackle the 10K+ (four laps and ten steep hills at Winterhills in Rotherham) to finish in silver medal position in the M55+ in a time of 40:32. The winner in Ben's category was Roy Bailey of Bingley in 39:59 only seconds ahead of our local hero. Martin Lister, who is no stranger to these events having featured prominently in many, finished in 40th place and was 10th in the M55 category in a time of 46:10.
On the same route but one race later the men 35+, 40+ and 45+ categories set off together. Ian Rowbotham finished in 31st and was 6th vet 45 in 40:18 (1st M vet 45 back was Andy Shaw 39:15, 2nd M Farran Leeds 39:29 & 3rd Paul Ruddleston Rotherham 39:59 who was 28th overall). Ian was followed swiftly by Simon Claridge in 32nd in 41:02.
With the Yorkshire Cross Countries over attention now moves onto The Northern XC Championships in Manchester on Sat the 24th of January 2007."

November 04, 2006 - National XC Relays, Mansfield - The Harrogate 'A' team finished 86th out of 132 teams while the 'B' team finished 106th in the English National Cross Country Relays at Mansfield.
