Information and Membership in Harrogate Harriers and A.C.
Training usually takes place in up to three or four pace groups
to cater for runners of all standards. We currently
have a qualified coach who is taking sessions. Further
details are available from our Welcome
Pack.
The Young
Athletes training group caters for ages from School Year 6
onwards. We organise various running and social events
throughout the year. During the spring and summer,
the
Point
to Point Races from local pubs and
Summer
League Races are always well attended.
Come along and join in one of our Training
Sessions at the Harrogate
Squash Club. Once you are happy we fit the bill, then subscribe
for your membership.
The annual membership runs from February and
costs:
Senior Membership - £25
Family Membership - £40 (including children up to 18 or 21 if in full-time education)
Junior Membership - £10 (up to 18 or 21 if in full-time education)
Membership fees are reduced by 50% for those joining after 1 October in any one year. There is also
a reduction for pensioners. The membership fee includes training sessions
(except for the Young Athletes), changing and showering facilities at the clubhouse, reduced race entry fees, affiliation to UK athletics and discounts at certain sporting goods shops. The Club also fund entries for its teams participating in certain
events such as the local summer road race league, cross country
league races and team relay events. Further

Membership application forms are available here and at the clubhouse
or from the Up
& Running store in Station Parade, Harrogate. Senior members need only complete the first page. The Club's
vests (red, yellow and black) should be worn when competing. These
are also available from the Up & Running store in Harrogate
(payment by cash or cheque only please!) along with other items
of our club kit.
The Club has a constitution and an elected Committee. It holds
its AGM in February. This year's AGM was held on Feb 9th at 8.30 pm in the clubhouse - agenda here. Our
