UK Youth Development League (UKYDL)

As an affiliated club, we compete in the UK Youth Development League (YDL) athletics league promoted by England Athletics. The athletes enjoy mixing with and competing at different track venues against athletes from across the North East of England. We compete at u13 (school years 6&7) and u15 (school years 8&9). The format comprises a full day of athletics events for different age groups with two boys and two girls per team per age group event. Further details are available on the YDL Athletics website.

North-East Youth Development League (NEYDL)

We also enjoy competing in the North-East YDL League that is arranged to support local clubs in the north-east region. This provides good opportunity to allow more children to participate and experience the fun of team competitions.  We compete at u13 (school years 6&7), u15 (school years 8&9) and u17 (school years 10&11). For further info see NEYDL website

2019 RESULTS

Here is the final league table from NEYDL 2019. Harrogate Harriers came second despite having to share athletes with different events for two of the Match days - great work everyone!neydl-final-league-rankings

Here is the final YDL league table from 2019.  Harrogate came top in their group and went through to the regional final where they came 5th out of 6 teams.  Really good effort and team work from all our amazing athletes.
