Track & Field
There are opportunities to represent Harrogate Harriers Juniors and compete in a range of competitive local, regional and national events including both team competitions and individual championships. There are also locally-hosted track meetings through the summer and details will be posted of those when available. (Useful links are: West Yorkshire Athletics League and the York Summer League)
UK Youth Development League (UKYDL)
As an affiliated club, we compete in the UK Youth Development League (YDL) athletics league promoted by England Athletics. The athletes enjoy mixing with and competing at different track venues against athletes from across the North East of England. We compete at u13 (school years 6&7) and u15 (school years 8&9). The format comprises a full day of athletics events for different age groups with two boys and two girls per team per age group event. Further details are available on the YDL Athletics website.

North-East Youth Development League (NEYDL)
We also enjoy competing in the North-East YDL League that is arranged to support local clubs in the north-east region. This provides good opportunity to allow more children to participate and experience the fun of team competitions.
