Parkrun Grand Prix 2026

Harrogate Harriers parkrun Grand Prix Series for 2026

Add a little extra spice to your Saturday mornings with this fun, friendly competition. We’ve selected a list of 12 nominated parkruns (see below), one for the first Saturday of each month. Join your club mates, enjoy a new route, and earn points based on your age-graded performance.

🏃‍♀️ How it works:

• Open to all Harrogate Harriers Senior members (18+)

• You must have Harrogate Harriers listed as your club on your parkrun profile and don’t forget your barcode!

• Complete any 8 of the 12 events in 2025 to qualify for the final standings

• A single league table for men and women

• Points are awarded based on your WAVA age grading (as shown in the official parkrun results):

  • 20 points for the top HH wava scoreer, 19 for second, and so on — down to a minimum of 5 points

• Special events at two parkruns will also feature in the HH Road Champs with bonus scoring (see below)

🗓️ Special Events:

Two of the events are also part of the Harrogate Harriers Road Championships:

• Fountains parkrun – 9th May – Harriers Takeover

• Harrogate parkrun – 6th June – Run Harrogate 10K Promo Day

On these dates:

• All HH parkrunners will receive 20 points for the HH Grand Prix

• All HH volunteers will also receive 20 points (must be logged on the published volunteer roster)

☕ Why take part?

• Explore new local parkruns, selected for proximity to Harrogate, good cafés and toilets

• Join club mates for a post-run brew

• Get involved in a bit of friendly competition and improve your age-grading through the year

• Please car share where possible to reduce travel impact
