Rules

• Points are awarded on chip time & will be used to calculate results

• Only First Claim Members are eligible for the 2026 Club Road Championship. If you are currently Second Claim but become a First Claim member from April 2026 then your results from that point will be eligible for the Championship.

• A minimum of 5 short, 3 long and 2 HDSRL Evening League races must be completed to qualify

• If a race is cancelled, where possible an alternative will be put into the Championship.

Scoring for 2025 - being revised for 2026

• The scoring is the same as 2024.

• All Harrogate Harriers (Open & Women) are placed in order of their time. 1st place is awarded 20 points, 2nd 19pts, 3rd 18pts, etc,  down to 16th 5pts, then all remainder will be awarded 5 points

• Only your top qualifying races will count towards the Club Championship (i.e. only your best 10 - 5 short, 3 long and 2 evening league scores will count)

• Current championship standings are in a table below which will be updated once results from each race are finalised

• Age Categories are in 5 year bands, age as applies at 30th June 2026. ‘Open’ Category is applicable to those not eligible for the ‘Female’ Category.
